Artsmark gold for college

CONGRATULATIONS: Pat Brennan-Barrett, Havering College vice-principal, Jenny Probert, assistant principal, Maria Thompson, principal designate.
THE Arts Council England has awarded Artsmark gold to Havering College of Further and Higher Education.
It was given in recognition of the college’s excellence in arts
The college in Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch, is one of 1,750 schools and colleges in England to receive an Artsmark this year.
The college was praised for its wide ranging and well resourced arts provision.
A spokesman for Arts Council England said the college had a secure and confidents arts faculty.
Student Charlotte Cooke made a celebratory Artsmark Gold cake to mark the award.
